clagan wrote:as Ryan said he plays there for Inter and did foe Barca too but he's head and shoulders above any other Cameroon player, build the team round him. he looked like he had the weight of a nation on his shoulders yesterday.
i know he does, but thats because Inter, and Barca, have other excellent CFs. Cameroon dont

absolutely Niall thats why he should be in the centre for Cameroon, he was on the periphery of the game all day yesterday. such a shame and the stick he's getting from people, especially Roger Milla, is a joke.
did you here he bought the team watches?

Re: World Cup
the 3 sides of Ronaldo on show already, the diving cunt pne minute then a screamer off the post from 30 yards the next, then a daft backheel to no one when a simple pass would have done.

Re: World Cup
Saw a wee bit of the NZ-Slovakia game and it was pish as expected.
The second half of the Portugal game wasn't that great either.
And I fell asleep watching the Brazil game.
Pish.

Re: World Cup
Robinhos pass was the textbook example of a deadweight ball, good to see him looking interested again. against a team who dont keep 11 men behind the ball i could see Brazil racking up a few. seriously well disciplined Korea team

fingers crossed anyway. missed the Chile game but the pundits were raving about them after the game. cant wait to see the Spaniards, 25 wins out of 26 games since the euros, amazing record.

Re: World Cup
they're very dissapointing. Iniesta looks off the pace, Xavi's been quiet, Silva's hardly had a kick and Villa's been wasteful. the Swiss are doing exactly what they set out to do, frustrate them.

Re: World Cup
'mon the uruguay!
Forlan oozed class all day and if Suarez had learned how to pass before the game got to injury time they'd have scored alot more. the first enjoyable game of the tournament for me.

Re: World Cup
I enjoyed SA's two games and the Germany one. The rest have been dire, just two teams playing not to lose.
Hahaha told you all Spain wouldn't win it, not that this rules them out but I think its a step in the wrong direction.
