Big Announcement on June 11th

Dunno if everyone has heard the rumours going round like wildfire of a big announcement to be made by Celtic.

Anyone heard of it and think they know what it'll be (if anything)?

All sorts of theories going round such as:
We're signing Keane/Bellamy, Larsson's comnig back (not to play for us), and Dennis O'Brien will take over from Desmond and invest at least £40 million into the club.


Someone on another forum posted: He (Peter Lawell) said 'it'll be worth the wait' publicly and has briefed his lackeys within online Timdom about 11th June, apparently.

been hearing it for a few weeks now mate. i assumed it was Lennys appointment but thats sorted now. a big signing or big investment would be amazing but if that was the case there'd be no way they could keep it locked till then. there's always leaks.

E Tims have been reprting this for about two months.

They say it is to do with DD meeting someone, so it looks to me like it's about investment.

aye, on the official website they have a big picture of lennon and then an ad to renew

its the boards job to sell ST's, of course they're gonna cash in on Lenny's appointment. there were pretty big queue's up at CP at the ticket office all weekend

I don’t think Lennon’s appointment will do enough to sell all the season tickets.

I for one am not even convinced.

When I start to see signings, proper ones, then I’ll give the board some credit.

They need to work harder than appointing a complete rookie as Celtic manager.

If we sign, Campbell, Bellamy and Keane. I’ll wank over a pic of Peter Lawwell and John Reid and put it on YouTube.

the announcement couldn't be a signing, it seems strange to put a date on a signing. must be investment, if the stories even true.
