Lee Wallace would be ideal, i'll wait and see what they're wanting for him first. 2mill would be a great piece of business. rumour is he's a massive fan of the manky mob, dont know how true it is though.

He's a hibbee apparently.
Would do the job for us but I reckon Mad Vlad would be a cunt too negotiate with as he hates us and doesn't hide it.

Re: The Left Back problem
they are a pain in the arse to do business with. Burnley bid £1.5mill for Driver and were told he's for sale at £3.5mill!
who was the last player we signed from them, Hartley?

Re: The Left Back problem
Aye Hartley was the last I think. If I remember right, we didnae get permission to speak to him until quite late on in that window as Romanov was reluctant to sell to us.
The same Hartley who Romanov recently said that we absolutely ruined as a player.
He was a Tim who got to win league titles with his bhoyhood heroes and play in the Champions League...ruined him right enough

Mad Vlads on another fucking planet. we changed him to a DM but his legs were going and he was no longer a big fish in a small pond.
do you remember a poster on TC called Rossenspiel? he fucking despised Hartley.

Aye I remember him, he certainly wasn't Hartley's biggest fan haha.
I liked him tbh, he was a good Tim and always gave 110% which is more than can probably be said for the current lot. As you say his legs were going so time was probably right for him to go but he was a good honest guy who wasn't anything spectacular but solid enough.

Re: The Left Back problem
there's too many of WGS's team that were decent and honest but average as fuck, no one says those things about the seville team. maybe we were spoiled for too long under St Martin

True that. It's certainly a shock when you've went from watching the Seville team to our current lot.

i remember being really pissed off at him when we played Barca at home, he was so deep he was almost at CB, we hardly kept the ball for more than 5 passes that night.

Re: The Left Back problem
i read on the BBC website we're linked with Cha Du Ri a S Korean FB. checked his wiki and it turns out he's a RB, decent CV though he's played his whole career in the bundesliga. RB's not the problem though.

Re: The Left Back problem
Goncalves was supposedly in talks with Scotlands Shame but priced himself out of a move. i'd rather him than O'Dea or Loovens.

Re: The Left Back problem
Well it looks as if we have our new left back however it's debatable as to whether the 'problem' has been solved. McGhee has been quoted as saying 'I wish him (Mulgrew) the best of luck at Celtic'.

For every 5 or so free kicks he scores a season, he will cost us 10 goals defensively, he can't defend but is decent going forward, i hope to fuck we don't sign him.
