i just dont get the feeling Robbie wants to come here otherwise he'd have already said so. Spurs are signing Gudjohnsen permanently so there's no room for Keano but i think he'd rather stay in the EPL.

Yeh it was really disappointing missing out on Bellamy, we had the opportunity to get him for 5 mill, but Strachan chose to spread his transfer budget and brought in a few players instead of spending the majority of it on Bellamy. He would of been perfect for us, still would for a couple of seasons.

Another one to throw into the mix is James McCarthy, i believe as time goes on we will realise how much of a blunder it was from our board letting him go to Wigan, buying Ki instead... ffs. James McCarthy won't sell shirts in Asia but he sure as fuck would win us games and will be worth millions in a few years.

aye McCarthys a star, Arsenal were sniffing round him after a few games down there. i see Stevie Fletcher just went for almost 7mill after a decent, but not great, season down there.

there was a croatian guy we were linked with under dr Jo, he ended up at Newcastle, really good playmaker.

Hakin Yakin too, he tore us apart for Basle.

I would have loved to see us sign Rivaldo as well, we were close apparently but MON insisted on bringing him on trial first so we lost out as he wasn't prepared to come on trial which was understandable really.

Think this was maybe 2 seasons after Seville so he was obviously past his best but he was still quality.

Once bitten twice shy Ryan. Juninho, bar his debut, was a FUD. Rivaldo was one of the best i've seen but i'm always wary of ageing players coming to Parkhead. Campbell being the exception as he's in great shape and is a top pro.

Hahaha he wisnae half mate, absolutely woeful he was. I think I can remember getting MOTM on his debut actually against the Shame. He was rank after that and it took him like ten games to score his first goal. Pish.

Would have loved to have seen us sign Pavlychenko or Darren Bent as well a couple of seasons ago. Dunno if the rumours ever had substance but still would have been great for us to sign them. It was around renewal time though and we ended up with Samantha signing a permanent deal instead...oh and Willo Flood in January!

Aye it is that man, that January still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

we had the oppurtunity to sign pavlechenko before he played in the euros. then his fee multiplied over night.
obviously bellamy is an obviuos one were we should have pounced.
we let shay given fall through our hands like robert green tonight. shouldnt have happened. he could have been a lifer.

personally , i thought we should have signed that mozart from spartak when we had the chance.
