David Healy, what a surprise...
Northern Ireland striker David Healy has said he would welcome a move to Rangers - if the opportunity of a move from Sunderland ever arose.
Healy, who struggled to get into the Sunderland first team and finished the season on loan at Ipswich, has been the subject of transfer gossip.
"I am contracted to Sunderland, so talking about leaving is not the proper thing to do," said the 30-year-old.
"But if Rangers came knocking I would certainly not be saying no."
Healy added: "I have been linked with going to Rangers for four or five years now.
"It has been well documented that I grew up supporting Rangers and my dad is a big Rangers fan, but that does not mean I am ever going to end up playing there
"I am keen to get back to Sunderland for pre-season training, get fit and see what happens."
NI boss Nigel Worthington has made it clear he wants to see members of his squad playing regular first team football.
But Healy said that would not influence whether or not he left Sunderland.
Hahaha the desperation of this DOB is hilarious...him to replace Boyd ? Yes please 'cause he's fuckin' pish and his international record has made him look a lot better than he is.
