Re: Potential Transfer Targets
I would rather we went for a more defensively solid full back than Mulgrew tbh. Wallace is a better player for starters.

Saw on the Sun website that Thommo had said Campbell had bought a new house not far from him and that maybe they could be sharing lifts. Seems like it's a definite goer.

good stuff. Also, id prefer wallace but mulgrew might be a decent backup, esp on a bosman

Ok, so a LB, CB and RM (Lawrence) look to be good goers at this stage. Can't complain as long as there's more to come.

tbf i wouldn't say we're sorted at LB. Mulgrew would be good back up, if we get wallace its sorted. up front we need a big signing too.

Re: Potential Transfer Targets
Middlesborough have had a 1.5 million bid accepted for Charlton's, Nicky Bailey, the midfielder we were apparently after. Better get the finger oot if we are genuinely interested.

i'm a fitbaw geek Ryan and i'll watch any game so i saw him quite a few times on the championship show last season. a good goalscoring MF, but at that level, he's not better than what we have.

I'll take yer word for it chief!
Another thing I was wondering...it's definitely went all quiet on the Ledley front. Wonder what the craic is there.

i cant blame him for taking his time, its a massive move for him and plenty of options. i'm not too optimistic.

me neither Ryan. it just shows people would rather play mid table fitba in the EPL than win trophies in Scotland. this league holds us back so much.

Hooper said he's gonna leave it all up to his agent Niall, he's happy enough to stay where he is from the sound of things. he's good but we can get better.

Re: Potential Transfer Targets
Saw on SSN that we had been linked with Steve Harper - the Newcastle 'keeper. Think it was in the Mirror or some shit like that so it's probably not true at all. I would like to think so anyway, we were linked with him years ago and he wasn't good enough then and he's still not good enough.

Re: Potential Transfer Targets
the papers dont half print some nonsense. Harper was second choice at Newcastle for a decade under Given and now he's first choice he's gonna leave?
i think alot of the rumours are started by agents looking to give them a bit more sway in transfer negotiations.
