MAF is shite, a shot shy, penalty box shy imposter. Will never be good enough for this team no matter what state we are in.

staying in the box just isn't his style Niall. he's a second striker.

Eamon Dunphy would label him "an imposter".

i never wanted us to sign him. i'd seen nothing of him at WBA to suggest he'd be a success here. out of the box he's pretty good at times but his finishing is way too eratic.

i see Hearts are being linked with Robbie Blake. not an out and out striker but i've always thought he was quality.

The cynic in me notices that we were 'close' to signing Bullard, Ledley, Campbel, Hooper etc before Lennon was officially confirmed as manager. Hmmm...

The Express said that we were after Stokes again and said he would cost a million. No quotes but.

I would expect Lenny to make a move for him tbh.

absolutely no danger Yogi would let him go for that. i'd say £2.5mill before they'd take it seriously. he's worth it, he'd score more goals than Boyd.

apparently Spurs are looking rid of Keane at a knock down price, get him fucking signed. i'd swap McGeady for Keane any day of the week.

I thought that myself, a million seems way too cheap, would be an absolute steal but.

I'll skelp your arse, ya dirty wee slapper. You'll take what you are given and be thankfull for it. Smile

Once we sell McGeady, I won't be happy unless we sign Bellamy or Keane - and I do fully expect us to get one of the two.

Since Samantha is on the way out, we need another striker to replace him as our backup. Stokes fits the bill perfectly for me here.

I'd like to see us start with Bellamy/Keane and Rasmussen. And having Stokes and Fortune as back up.
