aye, them argentina and paraguay have been the most attacking teams IMO

i'd say Uruguay have impressed me the most so far. the MF are excellent at closing down and winning the ball back and Forlans been outstanding. it'll be interesting to see how the defence do against a good team though. they haven't been tested too much.

Ah ffs, I had two free periods after lunch and I was gonna stay home tae watch the Portugal game but decided to go back for a period tae start on an essay..Portugal then score six goals in the second half. Bad decision that was!

Some end to this Chile vs Swiss game, the Swiss get man sent off. Hold out and make the record for most time without conceding in a WC. Then Chile score, miss two sitters and Swiss miss from 10 yards in stoppage time. Wish I could go onto B67 as I said Chile would qualify.

was watching the world cup earlier at work...the south africa v france game...great game btw...
but at half-time it was 2-0 to south africa...and it was 1-0 to uruguay against mexico. we were talking about the different possible outcomes of south africa and mexico finishing on the same points. if the score stayed 2-0 in sa v france and uruguay went on to win 3-0 then not only would south africa have the same goal difference as mexico...they both drew in head to head...they both would have had the same goals scored and conceeded...and they both lost to the group winners by the same score.

i thought Greece were an absolute disgrace last night. Sammy looked OK up front but even when they're getting beat they dont commit men forward, they're anti-football, i'd rather watch the huns.

didn't see S Korea but i heard Ki's playing well.

England to win 3-0 today and get beat by Germany on penalties in the next round.

100% mate. Lawrenson sounds like a women going through her menopause, absolute fanny. even the highlights are shockingly biased. Slvenia had a few chances yesterday but they're glossed over. i suppose they need all the good PR going.

also i was actually happy to see the Yanks go through, whatever you think of the country they've played good football and not had much luck apart from Greens howler. hit the woodwork a few times and had 2 good goals dissalowed.

Bradley and Donovan are playing great stuff.
